Lelo Enigma Wave Review

Enigma Wave’s wow-factor starts with unboxing. The triple stimulator is made with a smooth finish that feels great against the skin – it’s not a hard plastic or rubbery, gummy material that are often found on cheap sex toys. The overall quality of this product is top tier and holds its standard when wet or dry.

By the looks of it, you may be wondering how to use Lelo Enigma, but the functionality and design of the toy make obvious sense once you reach your first orgasm. It may look intimidating, but the size and shape of the G-spot bulb and clit sucker mouth prioritize the top pleasure points for women. Turning the toy on and cycling through different vibration patterns and strengths was easy, though we will say it didn’t take much to climax.

The ‘wave’ part of Enigma Wave is what gives it a perfect score for technology. Whilst inside of you, the internal arm moves towards the external mouth, adding pressure on and off the G-spot. It was an intensity we had never felt before and won’t be able to forget.

Out of the three toys, Enigma had the most appealing shape, from both an aesthetic and functional perspective. The handheld part of this vibrator fits nicely in the palm and is easy to hold on to, whereas Duo 2 and Sunray were more basic cylindrical bases.

All three toys had the same 2-hour user time, but Lelo does not list the charging time. We haven’t had a chance to time the charge from no battery to full yet, but all of their other products are about 1.5 – 2 hours, so we’ll make the same assumption. It’s actually surprising fast, taking into consideration how much technology is in this toy.

The “pinching” sensation coupled with the vibration of the internal and external parts of the toy made for an intense orgasm. We wouldn’t recommend it as a first vibrator, but for someone who’s maxed out on a basic vibrator and looking to explore new stimulations, this one’s for you.

The toy is fully waterproof and has an external coating that seals everything, including the charging port. This makes cleaning stress-free, but since the mouth of the toy isn’t removable, it’s best to take a Q-tip and clean the inside of it with mild soap and water. The buttons also require a little more pressure to control, but this actually comes in handy for traveling if you don’t want your vibrator accidentally turning on in your bag and dying before final destination.

At full price, Enigma Wave is the most expensive toy, but that being said – we’ve never actually seen it at full price on Lelo’s site. This seems to be one of the toys that’s always discounted (by around $50) making it a great deal for the quality.

Womanizer Duo 2 Review

Womanizer is a reputable brand so we anticipated the quality to be nice. It is, of course, phthalate-free and body-safe like the other toys, but our personal preference is for more smooth finishes. There’s something about a harder plastic that makes it a little less sexy.

When comparing Lelo Enigma vs. Womanizer Duo 2, they have relatively similar user experiences. The main differences come from the handle shape and added tech features, but when it comes down to orgasms, the Duo 2 did deliver.

The air pulsation on the mouth of the toy was a nice, resonating stimulation. The internal arm, which moves more like a vibration than applying pressure to the G-spot, was a bit underwhelming. One nice feature added to Womanizer Duo 2 is how easy it is to turn down because when you orgasm, it seems like the body’s natural response to the physical and emotional highs is to decompress.

The toy is pleasurable and offers heightened orgasms, but our only pitfall is the complexity of the controls. There are buttons to control every aspect of the device, the mouth, the internal arm and the vibration modes, but when it comes to the heat of the moment, simplicity is key.

Duo 2 has a 2-hour battery life from a 2-hour charge. They were the only brand to list the charge time, and even if it is the same as the others, is much appreciated.

The Womanizer dual vibrator offered a wonderful external sensation and decent internal stimulation. Would have loved for more of the “pinching” sensation against the internal walls that hold so many pleasurable nerve endings and can really heighten an orgasm.

At first, we loved that Duo 2 came with two interchangeable heads because it meant they would be easy to clean, but what we didn’t take into account was that because they were removable, this left crevices where bacteria could live. The materials are high-quality, but we do recommend a thorough cleaning after every use.

Out of the toys on this list, we paid the most out of pocket for the Womanizer Duo 2

Satisfyer Sunray Review

Satisfyer Sunray’s materials are body-safe, but they don’t feel anywhere as nice to the touch as the others. It doesn’t affect the technology or use of the toy, but it is a noticeable difference.

Taking into account that this toy is lower quality and less advanced in technology, Satisfyer Sunray offers good internal and external stimulation.

One interesting feature of this toy is that the motors can be controlled separately, but we prefer them in sync for the best stimulation. It has all the basic functionalities for a dual vibrator without the bells and whistles. The Sunray charger is also magnetic, which can easily get knocked off, so our personal preference is plug-in.

For this toy having less technical features than the others, we did like the single-button control of the device. The biggest flaw in design is the mouth that wouldn’t be compatible with such an array of anatomies like the flexible mouths of the other toys.

Satisfyer also notes that the user time is 2 hours without stating the charging time on the website or manual. It’s probably similar to the other devices at 2 hours but would be nice to know.

The vibrations were actually quite nice and deeply penetrating, not rumbly like some vibrators in the price point are known to be. The placement of the mouth and internal arm would work for most people, but doesn’t offer enough flexibility to pinpoint the nice vibrations in the most arousing areas.

Sunray was fairly straightforward to use since it only has one button. One caveat is that the handle is a basic cylinder that isn’t the most practical to control. Other than that, the device was also easy to clean.

The Satisfyer Sunray is the cheapest dual vibrator on the list, both in quality and price. If the price is the most important factor for you, this is a decent toy, but our personal opinion is that if you’re going to level up your sex toy game, you should make a quality investment.

Conclusion: What Is the Best Clit Vibrator?

If you’re experienced with your clitoral vibrator and enjoy penetration or G-spot stimulation, we recommend investing in a dual vibrator. It offers incredibly heightened orgasms that can’t be replicated with simpler toys. On the top of this list is Lelo’s Enigma Wave, which bridges thoughtful design and simply quality technology. The vibrations resonate deeply in the body, and the girth of the bulb sits nicely in the vagina.

Satisfyer Sunray is a good option for those whose main factor is price. It still stimulates the G-spot and clitoris simultaneously but has the most basic features of the bunch. Womanizer Duo 2 offers nicer features and design but at the highest price point of the bunch at the end of the day.
