Anal masturbation is becoming increasingly popular; everyone is talking about it. However, in the overwhelming vastness of information on the Internet, shopping for your first, or even your next, anal sex toy can be overwhelming. There are many sizes, and each anal toy suits different preferences and wishes. To help you pick the best one for you, we’ve tested three of the best vibrating anal toys according to customers – the LELO Soraya Beads, the Satisfyer Lolli, and the Lovense Ridge.

To objectively decide what makes the best anal toy, we compared the following criteria: quality of materials, user experience, product technology, ergonomic design, battery life, stimulation, ease of use, and of course, price point.

Soraya Beads Review

This isn’t the first LELO product we’ve tested, which is why it came as no surprise that the material was amazing to the touch. Soraya Beads are made with ABS plastic with a smooth body-safe silicone finish that feels nice when wet (something to always consider).

Soraya Beads also have a nice weight to them (about 5 oz. according to their website), which makes it solid to hold. Some cheaper anal toys can feel light and not as “impactful” upon use.

Compared to the other anal toys, we really enjoyed the length and girth of the beads and how easy it was to hold for penetrative movements. The design of Soraya Beads is thoughtful to both male and female anatomy.

The selling point for this product is its simultaneously vibrating beads, which is more novel than Lolli but less novel than Ridge. You can feel the vibrations in every bead, but the real magic is how it’s incorporated into the shape of the product. Soraya Beads also have cascading vibrations that move from bead to bead so it feels like thrusting without actual thrusting.

We really loved the ergonomic design of Soraya Beads – the curved string of beads, increasing size of the beads, and even the spacing between beads were comfortable and exciting. Another fantastic part of the design is the handle itself (which is the same handle as the Soraya rabbit vibrator) that is easy to hold because of both girthy shape and weight.

Soraya Beads take 2 hours for a full charge with up to 2 hours of usage time. It also contains a 90-day stand by time, which means it will hold any amount of battery for three months.

If anal stimulation is what after, anal stimulation is what you’ll get here. The vibrating beads resonate deeply in the bum and the vibration patterns offer something for everyone, whether that’s a constant buzz or intensifying waves. The quality vibrations coupled with the beads that grow in size feel amazing as they move in and out of the body.

Simply put – the easiest toy to control with one hand. While the more plug designs with small bases might work well for certain sex positions, the handle on Soraya beads is so easy to navigate and preferred for masturbation. It also has an internally-sealed battery so you don’t have to worry about fully submerging it in water during cleaning.

$229 is expensive, there’s no doubt, but if you’re looking for a toy that will last you forever and delivers when it comes to anal stimulation, Soraya Beads are it. It’s also often discounted on LELO’s website so you probably won’t be paying full price.

A very solid anal sex toy from all aspects, especially the ergonomic design of the toy. The price is justified by the quality that’s sure to last year for years and can be used for other types of stimulation if you get creative.

Satisfyer Lolli Review

Lolli is made from medical-grade silicone and has more of a plastic-y feel when compared to the smooth finish of Soraya Beads. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special about it either.

Lolli was a bit underwhelming for two main reasons that are mainly due to design – the handle (or lack thereof) and lackluster vibrations. It is a cheaper toy, so our expectations were lower, but we’d consider this more of a butt plug than an anal sex toy that’s meant for movement.

Lolli’s 2 motos are located in the base and tip of the toy. Essentially, they just make the entire device vibrate which is standard but nothing mind-blowing.

This toy is much smaller when compared to the others we reviewed. While I’m sure this was designed with beginners in mind, coupled with the underwhelming vibration means it’s not impactful from a pleasure perspective. Otherwise, the wide base ensures no accidents.

Lolli takes 1.5 hours for a full charge and contains a magnetic charger. I personally prefer plug-in chargers for peace of mind that they won’t get knocked off as easily, but the Lolli one worked just fine.

As stated above, Lolli is more of a vibrating butt plug that stays put because it doesn’t have much of a base to hold onto. Especially with the use of lube (a must for anal play of any type), the base coupled with the plastic finish makes it harder to control. If you’re interested in a vibrating plug more than an anal toy that can be moved, Lolli works just fine.

Aside from not being able to handle the toy as expected, it was extremely easy to clean because of the more plastic finish.

Lolli retails for about $45 (depending on the retail platform). While it may not be top-tier quality, it is an affordable vibrating anal plug.

Straightforward and easy to use, but on the cheaper side when it comes to quality. Maybe a good “beginner beginner’s” toy (like someone who just started masturbating), but otherwise the toy is small and not as stimulating as the others in this category.

The Lolli has been upgraded to Lolli 2 as well. The Lolli Plug 1 features diamond-shaped beads, while the Lolli Plug 2 has smoothly rounded beads that gradually increase in size. Both provide intense vibrations for enhanced anal pleasure. I haven’t had the chance to test them side by side yet, so I can’t speak in detail about their differences.

Conclusion: What Is the Best Clit Vibrator?

If you’re experienced with your clitoral vibrator and enjoy penetration or G-spot stimulation, we recommend investing in a dual vibrator. It offers incredibly heightened orgasms that can’t be replicated with simpler toys. Our winner from this bunch is Lelo’s Enigma Wave that bridges thoughtful design and simply quality technology. The vibrations resonate deeply in the body and the girth of the bulb sits nicely in the vagina.

Satisfyer Sunray is a good option for those whose main factor is price. It still stimulates the G-spot and clitoris simultaneously, but has the most basic features of the bunch. Womanizer Duo 2 offers nicer features and design but at the highest price point of the bunch at the end of the day.
