The secret’s out—actually it’s been out—that women mainly orgasm from clitoral stimulation alone, followed by combination stimulation that includes clitoral. I’m happy to see that sex tech is focusing more on delivering this type of pleasure with clitoral “pinpoint” vibrators that are designed specifically for our hidden gems.
Since most of the clitoris is not visible from the outer body, I couldn’t wait to test three very popular pinpoint vibrators: JimmyJane Focus, Zumio Sadie and Lelo Dot, to see which one delivered the best orgasm. Read on for details or jump to the conclusion for our personal recommendation.
JimmyJane Focus
The Focus isn’t the sexiest looking vibrator—in fact, it kind of looks like a turkey baster. It is, however, a quality clitoral (and nipple) vibrator that’s easy to use. With one button, the Focus can be turned on and off by holding down for 3 seconds, and the four different intensities can be accessed by single clicks. This is a relatively straightforward interface, unless you’re someone who likes to move up and down through the intensities (since it can only increase until it restarts with the levels).
JimmyJane’s claim to fame with this toy is its “31,000 vibrations per second.” It does vibrate quickly, and something I noticed on other reviews is that it was more of a “buzzy” or “tickly” vibration than one that penetrated deep into the clitoris. The other toys on this list could be felt below the surface or external part of the clitoris, whereas this was more of a topical vibration. If you’re someone who’s very sensitive, this would probably still be great for you, but if you desire a deep power, it might not be your best bet.
Although the toy is made with nice, ABS body-safe silicone, the grooves on the toy make it the hardest of the group to clean. It’s not a total deal-breaker, but something to consider if you enjoy using lube (always recommended) or create bountiful natural lubrication.
The toy also has an automatic power-saving mode in which it turns off after 10 minutes. It’s great in theory, but not good when you’re in the middle of climaxing.
Jimmy Jane Focus’s Vital Statistics
PROS
- Designed for clitoral and nipple stimulation
- Cheaper than most other JimmyJane products
- Comes with 3 interchangeable silicone head attachments
- Can be used up to 3 hours per charge
CONS
- Surface vibrations not as intense as the other options
- “Splashproof,” but not fully waterproof
- Range of intensities limited to 4 speeds
- Power saver automatically turns toy off after 10 minutes
Zumio Sadie
After testing JimmyJane’s Focus, I could immediately tell the difference between the type of sensation Zumio offers. It is accurately described as a rotation, and not a vibration. It can be felt much deeper in the clitoris, but because it’s more of a rotating stimulation, I’d say it’s less “pinpoint”.
I preferred the three-button interface because I could move through the eight vibrations easier. There’s also a travel lock which makes this a great and discreet toy to take on vacations and business trips—not to say this is a solo-only toy. It’s less invasive than the Focus in overall design and can be held against the clit during partnered sex.
Zumio is known for having a wide range of intensities across their product lines, so you can find one that’s best-suited for you, however, this doesn’t come at a small price. I’ve tried a few of Zumio’s pinpoint vibrators that promise different types of orgasms, like “soft and gentle” vs. “quick and intense”, but the head designs were the only thing that seemed different. It’s great if you’re a sex toy connesuir, but if you’re looking for an all-around good, standard pinpoint vibrator, I recommend the last one on this list.

Zumio Sadie’s Vital Statistics
PROS
- 8 different vibration speeds
- Fully waterproof
- Pressure-sensitive intensity level
- Doesn’t look like a sex toy
CONS
- Little differentiation across Zumio product range
- Specific tip requires precise control
Lelo Dot
This isn’t the first Lelo product I’ve tested, so it came as no surprise that it was the most luxurious feeling and design of the bunch. Unlike the Focus and Zoomio, the shape of the Dot is more of an arch rather than a separated head that vibrates, which also means stimulation can be felt on the arch and not just the tip. I could see this as a great toy for BDSM or anyone who likes teasing foreplay before getting into the precision part that it offers.
The best part about the elliptical movement of the tip is that you can get various simulations from it by tipping the toy and using it at a different angle, something the other contenders don’t offer. The user time is an hour less than JimmyJane Focus (2 hours compared to 3), but I will say that Dot’s stimulation is much more intense. Plus, two hours is still a fair share of orgasms.
I didn’t get multiple orgasms at once, but the orgasm was intensely unique. I’m also not someone who is either sensitive or needs a ton of power, so the range that Dot offered was perfect for exploring. Above all, the seamless shape of this toy provided the most heightened climax of the bunch.

Comparison conclusion
The Lelo Dot is like your favorite lingerie, not only does it enhance your curves, it feels and looks amazing. I do appreciate that the JimmyJane Focus is budget-friendly and simple to use, but the biggest buzz kill was the surface-level vibration. And while Zumio Sadie had a more impactful rotating head, Lelo Dot’s versatility can’t be beat. It may have been late to the game, but it showed up to play!
Be patient while exploring pinpoint vibrators. You may need to readjust until you find your unique sweet spot, but mark our words—it’s worth it.
